On 25th September 2008 a team of seven from Duxford Airfield Fire and Rescue Service, set off from Duxford Airfield for RAF Valley, Anglesey - Wales, the aim? cover the distance as a relay in the shortest time possible and along the way raise as much money as possible for
The British Heart Foundation.
How did we do - Departed Duxford 10am Thursday 25th - Arrived at RAF Valley Guardhouse 8.30am Friday 26th!
Amount raised - we think in excess of £2000
